Ten Commandments Hike
The Ten Commandments hike began in 2000 as an interfaith program that welcomed Girl Scouts, Scouts BSA, Cub Scouts, and Youth Groups who were members of any religious denomination. The hike visits different religious denomination worship places where the pastor describes 1 of the 10 Commandments. The hike is typically about 3 miles long and takes about 3 hours to complete. Attendees bring a sack lunch that is eaten along the hike in a park setting. A special (optional) commemorative patch is for sale to participants.

We will also suggest they bring a chair or blanket to sit on at lunch, we will not be entering any building due to an abundance of caution concerning the pandemic. We will also be doing temperature checks and requiring Covid release forms and pre-event Covid checklist this year as well as following all Longhorn Council COVID-19 policies including the use of masks/face coverings.

The 2021 Ten Commandments Hike will be held on Saturday April 17, 2021 in Lewisville.
Start and End Point: (Old) Lewisville Natatorium parking lot
1776 Timber Creek Rd, Flower Mound, TX 75028

This is a free event. Families and friends welcome to join!
Registration starts at 9:30am. Patches (optional) are $5 cash.
